Development Updates #11

In the last 2 weeks we were mainly working on new enemies and reworking Main Menu.

Added:

  • [Enemies] Added new enemy called Mummy.
  • [Enemies] Wraith can now spawn in the Ancient Desert.
  • [Curses] Added new curse called "Sad World".
  • [Spells Merging] Added new Spells Merging type (on summon deal damage).
  • [Main Menu] Added initial popup message that "For best experience we recommend playing with keyboard & mouse for more precise aiming.".
  • [Music] Added dynamic music to Trap Rooms.
  • [Trap Rooms] Added second reward after completing Trap Rooms. All Trap Rooms now have Very Rare or Legendary artifact as one of their rewards.
  • [Logo] Logo is now translated to Chinese.

Changed:

  • [Main Menu] Changed main menu splash art, logo and font.
  • [Levels] Adjusted level length in all biomes. They are mostly shorter now.
  • [Spells] Lightning Strike is now treated as an explosion.
  • [Spells] Lowered Fire Ball and Energy Ball projectiles speed.

Fixed:

  • [Game-breaking] Fixed a game-breaking bug where some players were unable to jump (or rather that their jumps were very small, making the game unplayable for them).
  • [Camera] Improved camera movement after crouching.
  • [Spells Merging] Fixed interaction of Volley Spells with other spells after merging.
  • [Loading] Fixed a bug where it was possible to open Pause or Inventory menu during level loading and thus making it seem like it has never loaded (it was loaded, but just paused).
  • [Spells] Fixed interaction of all projectiles with the boomerang effect (now they always rotate properly towards flying position).
  • [Sounds] Fixed a bug where some sounds were playing again after unpausing the game.
  • [Performance] Fixed a bug where players using Arabic system language had performance issues.
